Another excellent Saturday for Richmond as there are wins for the 1st, 3rd and 4th XIs

41 points today with excellent wins for the 1's, 3's and 4's. Outstanding run chase by the 1's with Andrew Lowe leading the way with a superb 135 not out. Skipper Griif with 50 helped to set up the chase after Richmond had fallen to 58 for 3 chasing 277. To win with an over to spare was a tremendous effort.
The 3's seam twins of Sharif Khan and Ben Rotheram were too good for Teddington's 3rd, who were dismissed for 90. We knocked them off for the loss of 5 wickets.
George Allan-Lowe and Sami Shori, two teenagers, were the stars as the 4's (or 3 B's as Spender calls them) chased down Winchmore Hill 3's 235. Honourable mention for Philip Cole - 5 wickets on his return.
The 2's fared less well, hanging on for a draw against defending Champions Finchley. Oil Tame again showed the best with the bat whilst KD took 5 but another poor day for the 2's by their own high standards.
All in all though a good day only spoilt by the fact that Ealing were unable to raise a 5th XI meaning that our own 5's, despite picking up another cheap 10 points, were deprived of a game.
