Richmond's Under 13 girls travel to the Wirral for National Finals Day

Richmond's Under 13 girls have had a great run in the ECB's 8-a-side national
T20 cup (sponsored by the Lady Taverners) and now travel to Neston CC on the Wirral in the attempt to be crowned National Champions.

The girls started off with six wicket victories over old friends Ealing CC & Spencer CC in the first two rounds. In the third round, they welcomed Falkland CC from Berkshire on a
Friday evening at ODP and won by 103 runs, and in the fourth round we
hosted Rowledge CC from Hampshire at the Newman and won by 5 wickets.

For the fifth round, the girls travelled to Tunbridge Wells in Kent to play for the
London and South-East title. Having conceded 183/3, they put in a great batting performance to reach 185/4 off 18.5 and reach the national finals' day at Neston CC (Cheshire) which is taking place tomorrow - Wednesday 7th August.

RCC are drawn to play South Northumberland CC while Coton CC (Cambridgeshire) and Exeter CC play the other semi-final. Good luck ladies!
