Frustration and disappointment for the 1's and 3b's. Wins for the 2's and Academy. Defeat for 3's and 5's.

League weekend 7 and a mixed fortunes to report again. Frustratingly Bushy Park was simply too soggy for any game to take place and so the much-awaited top of the table clash between the League's top two sides didn't even start. 1 point and so Ealing join us tied for 1st after they beat next week's opponents Shepherds Bush. The 2's battled hard to reach 177 for 8 off 55 overs, skipper Simon Elliott leading the way with 55 before Sam Goodwill's quick 32 not out took us to a more than competitive score. In reply Hampstead started well but faltered after Daniel Stanley came on to take 5 for 28. The 3's had Hampstead 121 for 7 but let them off the hook to concede 213 for 9. In reply Richmond's batting never got underway and we were dismissed for 110. The 3b's came up against an obdurate Twickenham who, having stuck Richmond in and seen us get 210 for 6, blocked if from 5 down and crawled to 109 for 6 and 1 point. Congratulations to George Allan-Lowe on a ton. The 5's were defeated against Crouch End. On Sunday, the 1's travelled to High Wycombe to compete for a place in the last 16 in the country. But with only 4 regular 1st XI League players available against the hosts 7, it was always going to be tough and so it proved. Having held High Wycombe to 256 for 8 off their 45 overs, the batting failed miserably with only Kshitij Desai showing any real resistance, scoring 62 of 39 balls. We were dismissed for 125 and any hopes a cup success disappear for another year. The Under 21's, on their first outing fared much better against Twickenham, bowling the visitors out for just 115 and knocking them off for the loss of just 4 wickets.
