Bowling on the Ancient Lawn of the Inn at Hadley is a tradition of tour. Paul Clephane, Dave Harding-Smith, Andrew Jones and Steve Spencer-Jones about to perform whilst Chris Goldie takes on Adam Gilchrist. The sartorially more restrained Terry Harris and Chris Cooper are the third pair.
Its not just bowls and beer on tour. We even manage some cricket. Below, Adam Gilchrist shows a crab-like defence at Ombersley whilst Messrs Laurie Allan and Mike Cronkshaw leave the field at Bourton Vale after the tourists had managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. A former Richmond cricketer, James Gordon-Lennox, led the sympatheic applause from the opposition.
