Our popular Easter Cricket Camps are back and the perfect time to prepare for the 2022 season!

Richmond Cricket Club is delighted to offer three weeks of Easter Cricket Camps for players aged 6 years - 15 years old, in readiness for the start of the new season. Please BOOK HERE.

During the camp we will cover all aspects of cricket (see below) and with the use of grass facilities, bowling machines and plenty of coaching aids, your child will gain some valuable tips to make it a beneficial camp for all.

In the last few years we have made sure these camps are very important for your child's development. In return we would like them to firstly enjoy themselves, but secondly, work hard and take on board the knowledge the coaches pass on.

- Fun warm up games.

- Fielding drills and competitions.

- Bowling and batting drills.

- Nets and net test matches

- One day and T20 format, covering different options with bat and ball. Developing new shots and deliveries.

- Outfield matches.

- Centre wicket nets

TIMING: The camps will run from Monday to Friday (Thursday for week 3) from 10:00 - 16:00 (full day) with the option to do just the morning (10:00 - 12:30) or afternoon (13:30 - 16:00).

We operate both hard ball and soft ball training and welcome girls and boys of all abilities.

COACHES - We will be in orange tops so please look out for us when you arrive and we will direct you in the right direction so you know exactly where to go.

KIT - Players should bring their own cricket kit. If you don't have hard ball kit but want to play hard ball then boys must have their own box and box briefs. A local cricket or sports shop will sell them. We do have some kit to go around but the box is essential. Please also wear suitable sports clothing.

LUNCH AND SNACKS - Players should bring their own food and drink and we recommend a snack for morning and afternoon break. The bar will be open all day so please make sure your child has some money to purchase a drink if needed. PLAYERS MAY NOT LEAVE THE SITE AT LUNCHTIME BY THEMSELVES.

WET WEATHER PLAN. The club house has rooms available to either play some soft ball games or TVs to watch some cricket highlights. If the weather is really bad and the forecast doesn't look promising then we may need to cancel that day's camp. It is therefore important we have your emergency contact details so we can contact you with plenty of notice.

SIBLING DISCOUNTS. If you are booking for more than one child, then please let us know and we will provide you with a sibling discount code. We require separate bookings for each child so we have all the required information.

The camps have been a great success over the years and we can't wait to get started again this season.

We look forward to seeing your child soon.
