We are delighted to welcome new players of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to our highly inclusive cricket programme, which runs throughout the year.
Free training for U11s and U10s
Under 11/10s boys and girls are welcome to join hard ball training and nets sessions with parent coaches and, when available, a bowling machine between 10-12 Saturday mornings throughout the winter, depending on the weather. Just come along to the nets at Old Deer Park with hard ball equipment (helmet, gloves, box, pads, bat and a hard ball) and join in.
These sessions are a great way to keep players in touch with the core skills of fielding, batting and bowling, and enable us to work on basic techniques before the season’s matches and training start in April.
Non members are welcome to join us for a taster session.
Camps and professional coaching
Members and non-members are welcome to join a variety of winter coaching sessions.
Group sessions: Pro coaches are running a variety of non-subscription indoor sessions on weekends and weeknights for groups of 6-8 for a variety of age groups before and after Christmas. The sessions are held at Grey Court and Ibstock schools. More information will be published shortly. Contact Director of Cricket, Adam London for more information.
Easter camps: We run a wide selection of camps before, during and after the season and will update this section closer to the first camps in Easter.
