The 1's see an improbable victory slip through their fingers against League Leaders Ealing.

In an enthralling and remarkable game at Old Deer Park, the 1st XI lost to league leaders Ealing by 1 wicket. With Ealing taking 37 minutes to score the last 11 runs required and losing 1 wicket along the way, this was a match which kept everyone on the edge of their seats and the result really could have gone either way. Richmond batted first and saw a good opening stand between Andrew Plummer and Gregor Paterson but then, as is so often the case, a flurry of wickets saw the home team slip. However David Blows with an excellent 44 not out gave the 1's a score to defend.

However after 6 overs of Ealing's reply, anything but an emphatic Ealing win was highly unlikely. But acting Skipper Jimmy Mugnaioni, backed up first by Steve Stacey and then David Burton ripped through the Ealing batsman to see the visitors subside to 171 for 8. Time was never a factor and with the Ealing overseas Opie at the crease and looking to be postive it was very much game on. Richmond had their chance - most notably when a regulation slip catch went down with Opie on 11 - but Ealing scraped home to win the match.

Despite scoring 243 for 6, the 2's lost to Ealing in the final over of the match. There was an excellent 72 not out from James Essex but Ealing's experience batsmen saw them home.

The 3's go marching on with 5 wins out of 5 in the League. Scott Oakley and Ani Muraly were in the wickets sharing 9 before Arthur Sewell's unbeaten ton led the way to the 10 points.

The return of Alastair Evans-Gordon was the catalyst for an excellent win by the 4's who defeated Kenton 3's by 98 runs. AEG took 7fer as Kenton were dismissed for 115.

The 5's lost to Twickenham 5's by 8 wickets.
