Richmond CC is delighted to appoint Masuri as its new cricket clothing supplier for all sections of the club

Masuri are the perfect partner for Richmond CC. We wanted a single supplier who can provide all our players with easy and reliable access to the best kit available.

Richmond CC is delighted to announce that it has entered into a long term partnership with Masuri, who now become the sole supplier for all Richmond CC playing and training kit, across all sections of the club.

For the coming season, Richmond CC’s Committee have worked with Masuri, widely recognised to be one of the World's leading cricket clothing specialists, to pull together a range of top quality cricket playing and training gear.

It is available to order here.

By appointing Masuri, Richmond CC has achieved a number aims:

  1. A single supplier capable of fully servicing all the needs of every section of the club.
  2. Access to a first-class online shop offering five day delivery lead times, and the personalisation of clothing (i.e. squad numbers and player names etc.) using advanced printing technology.
  3. Access by all RCC members to the same top quality cricket clothing tested and approved by Richmond CC’s First XI squad.
  4. The same coloured playing kit will be used across all of the Men’s, Women’s and Junior teams NB1, NB2.

As part of the new partnership with Masuri, we are also excited to announce the launch of a new coloured kit design.

The new design will be introduced in two stages.

  • From the start of the 2023 season it will be adopted by the U17s and Women's and Girls' sections
  • From the start of the 2024 season it will be adopted by the adult men’s, U19s and Middlesex Development XI.
  • (Boy’s age groups from U15s and younger will need to take direction from their Age Group Managers as to whether their teams will be playing in white or coloured kit in 2023.)

Steve Deakin, who led the kit review project, commented: “Masuri are the perfect partner for Richmond CC. We wanted a single supplier who can provide all our players with easy and reliable access to the best kit available. Masuri holds significant levels of stock, and their state-of-the art UK based printing capabilities mean that they can deliver personalised cricket clothing within just five days of an individual order being placed through our online shop.”

Callum Wyatt at Masuri said: “We’ve worked hard to have everything in place to fully service the increasingly complex needs of large cricket clubs. We’re excited to be working with Richmond CC, and are looking forward to delivering great service and top quality kit to all its members.”

Apart from offering great cricket clothing, the Richmond CC - Masuri online shop will also allow players the opportunity to personalise their clothing items, with names, numbers and initials. The club wants to encourage players to do this, and is offering the following guidance:

Playing numbers

Playing numbers need to be agreed with each team, section or age group’s management. To avoid having playing numbers running into the hundreds, we will have one unique pool of numbers for the Men’s, MDL, U19 and U17S, and a separate pool for the Women’s and Girl’s section. Age groups from U15 and below can have their own unique pools under the control of the Age Group Managers. However, when players move beyond the U15 age group, they will then need to change their club playing numbers to one that is available in the Men’s – U17 pool.

Personalisation of playing kit

Coloured
Unless advised otherwise by an age group manager, all coloured playing kit should have players’ surnames and numbers on the back and playing numbers under the badges on the front of playing shirt and trousers.

White
White kit will not have players’ numbers and names on the back, although it can be personalised with each player’s initials under the club’s badge on shirts and trousers.
