The clocks have gone back and the sun is shining. It must be time for some cricket.
Our summer of Cricket officially starts on Wednesday 15th, with commencement of Outdoor Nets. Practice officially starts at 6pm, every Wednesday, running all the way through the season. We aim for a 7:30pm finish, though this is flexible depending on light and the number of attendees (ensuring everyone gets a bat etc).
For any new members to the club, please come down and ask for the net captain.
Whilst we appreciate work and life can make turning up challenging for some, we do see practicing at nets as an important habit to get into. The selection committee will be well represented at each session and attendance will be a factor in selection. Aside from the benefit practice brings, nets are a great way to meet people across the club and builds the culture we pride ourselves on.
Food will be available through 'The Hatch' each Wednesday till at least 8pm.
