RCC U11A won the toss and asked Twickenham to bat. Bowling was tight with the first 10 overs going for just a handful of runs. Eddie and Sandy were rewarded for bowling the straightest and took a couple of wickets each. 57 was unlikely to be enough, and once Eddie and Dan added 27 for the first wicket the result was never in doubt. Eddie finished with 37 at a little better than a run a ball.
Other points of note were debuts for Ellie (playing alongside brother Jack for the first time) and for Nathan and Tom. Nathan was also awarded his baggy maroon after the match for his third appearance.
The team had fun, supported each other, and fielded solidly - room for improvement to reach that target of being the best fielding team in Middlesex!
