Following new ECB Guidelines the nets are open for bookings

the nets are open for bookings

Covid-19 update
Updated 16th May. Following the publication of guidelines by the ECB we are delighted that we are now in a position to re-open the nets at Richmond Cricket Club on a carefully controlled basis from Sunday 17th May for coaching 121s and member bookings - these will be limited whilst we bed down the procedures that we must follow. Preparations are now complete (see video of our Director of Cricket hard at work!).

We know that many players will be keen to get back in to the nets as quickly as possible and we have done what we can to ensure that the facilities are ready and safe for all to use.

We will be using only 3 nets at Old Deer Park to ensure that we are able to maintain adequate social distancing. The nets at Christ's School are not open at this stage.

A number of slots will be pre-allocated to five coaches, which will help to generate income to the club. The remaining slots will be made available to members.

Having being starved of cricket for so long we expect significant demand for net usage, so please follow the guidelines on the club website:

  • 121 coaching. All the coaches will pay a net hire fee to Richmond CC as part of the club’s Covid-19 Appeal. Sessions booked with Adam will generate the most income for the club.
  • Member bookings

As a member you have a big responsibility. Please ensure you respect the guidelines set out so we can all continue to make use of the facilities. Breach of the guidelines could result in the nets being closed for all.
