This half-term Charlie Nelson heads to Sri Lanka on tour with the Surrey Academy. Last season Charlie, 17 years old, helped the RCC 1st XI to promotion back to the Premier League. He was also a key player for the U17s, U19s and the trophy winning MDL side. He is a top order batter and off-spin bowler and his considerable talents will certainly be put to the test in challenging conditions at a very high level. It is a well earned, amazing opportunity and we know that he will do us proud.
