Richmond's professional and parent coaches are running a busy winter programme for junior players

Despite the cricket season ending, Richmond's professional and parent coaches are running a busy winter programme for junior players of all ages and abilities:

Free training
Under 10/9/8s can join free hard ball training and nets sessions with parent coaches and, when available, a bowling machine between 10-12 Saturday mornings throughout October and November, depending on the weather. Just come along to the nets at Old Deer Park with hard ball equipment (helmet, gloves, box, pads, bat and a hard ball) and join in.

Camps and professional coaching

  • Half term cricket camp is running at Old Deer Park from 1000-1600 Mondays to Fridays from Mon 18th Oct until Thurs 28th Oct. More info here.
  • Group sessions: Pro coaches are running a variety of indoor sessions on weekends and weeknights for groups from October. For more information, please email Adam London
  • One-to-one / small group sessions: Pro coaches are also offering 121 and small group coaching indoors and outdoors through the autumn winter. Contact Ian Tabor or Adam London.

For club members
Indoor tournament: Our girls U12, U14 and boys U10, U11, and U15 age groups are playing Middlesex winter indoor cricket this winter. Ask your age group manager for more information after joining the club.

2022 season: Spring isn’t far off and Richmond’s age groups compete in Middlesex and Surrey leagues and tournaments, with >30 matches per season per age group.

Richmond has a highly inclusive policy. We welcome all ages and abilities. All abilities train together and everyone gets to play a good number of matches every season.
