Two national competitions first round matches and two wins as the Senior Men and Girls Under 15's progress to the next round.

The 1's travelled to Eastcote for the delayed First Round of the Royal London National Club Championship yesterday and recorded a comfortable 8 wicket win to maintain our good early season form. Alex Griffiths standing in for Greg King, won the toss and invited Eastcote to bat first. The hosts struggled as wickets fell at regular intervals being dismissed for 172 in the 39th over. In reply Ben Compton and Cormac McLoughlin got us off to a good start, before Will Jenkins and then Rob Gibson saw us home. Compo ended on 77 not out and Gibson 55 not out. Next Sunday, we take on Twickenham on the Green in the next round.

Meanwhile, Richmond's Under 15 Girls had a resounding win 56 run win over Beckenham in the 1st Round of the Lady Taverners National T20 Competition. Charlotte Stubbs with 69 not out, Issie Davies (33 no) and Annika Arora (21) were the stars with the bat whilst Poppy Sykes struck twice with the ball.
