Fixture: Richmond GU10, vs Spencer A vs Spencer B - DOUBLE HEADER

Location: Cottenham Park, Melbury Gardens, Raynes Park, SW20 0DH

Meet Time: 8:45 (9am Start)

Format: 8/16 overs Pairs - Softball.

This is a double header so the team will play 2 games, against Spencer A and then B teams.

Kit: Navy Team Shirt or similar

Navy/White Cricket trousers/tracksuit bottoms.

Prior to the Game

I declare that I have checked for symptoms of COVID-19 and to the best of my knowledge and belief, no member of my household currently has COVID-19 or any related symptoms.

In line with current UK Government Guidance, if an individual is symptomatic and/or living in a household with a possible COVID-19 infection they should remain at home and follow UK Government guidance. In addition, any participants who have been asked to isolate by NHS Test and Trace because they are a contact of a known COVID-19 case, must not exercise outside their home or garden and must not exercise with others.

If it applies to us, we will follow UK Government guidance on shielding and protecting people who are clinically extremely vulnerable from COVID-19.

We will comply with all public health restrictions and avoid high risk behaviour outside the sports setting to reduce the risk to our fellow participants.

We will carry out personal hygiene measures at home before and after cricket activity.

We will bring our own hand sanitiser, where possible, and maintain strict and frequent hand hygiene measures.

We will follow UK Government guidance on best practice for travel, including minimising the use of public transport and limiting car sharing.

My child will arrive changed and ready to begin the warm-up, if possible.

During the Game

We will enter the site and prepare my child’s personal equipment whilst maintaining social distancing.

I agree for my child to be part of a group of (maximum) 30 participants, including coaches and officials, for the duration of the cricket activity.

Where possible, my child will limit sharing of equipment. If he/she does share equipment, he/she will practise strict hand hygiene before and after use

My child will not apply sweat or saliva to the ball at any time.

My child will sanitise her/his hands prior to the start of the activity, at all breaks , prior to consuming any food or drinks, and after the completion of activity.

My child refrain from spitting or rinsing out his/her mouth.

My child will bring his/her own food and drink for 'tea'

My child will not share a water bottle

We will exit whilst maintaining social distancing.

I will report any infection in my household to the NHS Test and Trace system following use of the facility to limit the spread of the virus (section 3): https://www.gov.uk/guidance/nhs-test-and-trace-how-it-works.

If my child bats, she/he will sanitise their bat when leaving the field of play

If my child keeps wicket, he/she will sanitise his/her gloves.

If my child bowls, she/he will not hand any personal items to the umpire, but instead place these items at the boundary herself/himself.

Parents and spectators

As a spectator, I will remain socially distanced at all times and refrain from all contact with the ball e.g. returning it to the field of play.

I will not form a spectator groups greater than six persons, in line with wider UK Government guidance.

I am aware of the increase in transmission risk associated with partaking in even socially distanced group activity and hereby provide my consent for my child to play in cricket games.
