Cricket Teams

Adults

We play in two leagues: Middlesex D2 and Surrey Premiership. The first team focuses on Surrey and the second team on Middlesex. Players can play in both leagues. Our goal is to be inclusive and get everyone a game, but have a focus on winning the Surrey league and Elite T20 and our selection for these will be perfomance based. Surrey is considered a serious performance league - our experience is that it is fun and at the same time great competition.

Many junior players will want to play Woman's cricket, so be aware the leagues has two age gates. A player must be 13 years old to play in the Middlesex and Surrey league. In the Surrey Elite T20 they must be 15 years old or a CAG players with permission from the relevant county.

We encourage everyone who wants to play adult cricket to get involved, so please make sure the captain is aware and that you have made the players available on Pitchero each week. If you need help or advice please ask one of our lovely players, Greg, Stuart, Mohammed or Ahmad for assistance. And yes, Women's cricket can be tough, but last season one of our U13 scored two centuries in the women's game, so you could too!

Juniors

Most age groups will play in a Middlesex (mid-week) and a Surrey (Sunday AM or midweek) league, and there will be a cup competition as well. Fixture will be loaded in Play-cricket and in Pitchero. There will also be U9 festivals, but we still need some volunteers to organise our team on the day – please message Greg or me if you can help.

Players throughout all the girl squads are requested to prioritise their age group and team, there will be opportunities to play-up in older age groups during the season, and these will be shared amongst the lower age group squads ensuring we give all an opportunity to experience this cricket.

ECB Cup Competition 2023

We participate at U13, U15 and U19 this season. We have always prioritised ECB Cup (previously called The Lady Taverners Cup) and in recent years we have been successful but not yet lifted the trophy – we carry this goal with us into the 2023 season. To enable us to advance in this competition we will select players to represent our section in this knockout cup, with the regional finals, semi-finals and final at a central county ground during August. Additional Training sessions will be required as our team progresses through the competition.
